Info.
Trish and I moved to Spokane from Charlotte, NC in January 2019. Our goal was to live in an older neighborhood close to downtown and her office. After spending countless hours scouring the residential real estate market on line and preparing spreadsheets to compare the available properties we narrowed the field of perspective homes down to about six. With the help of our real estate agent Marilyn Amato we toured each home and picked a favorite. To be honest, the house we decided on was my first choice. I was looking for a place that needed some TLC and had the most potential upside when it was time to sell.

The house was built in 1951 and was vacant for approximately eight years before we bought it. Needless to say it is in dire need of updating and modernization. The main floor has approximately 1,400 square feet with a full basement of the same size. The plan is to open up the kitchen, convert two of the three existing bedrooms on the main level to a master suite with the third bedroom becoming an office. In the basement we intend to build two guest bedrooms, a full bath, fitness studio, game room, butler pantry, and laundry room.
